  2. Hot-Dice 2.2 - Upgrade Instructions

  4. If you are _NOT_ running in an InterBBS League:
  5.  
  6. For a regular Non-IBBS upgrade, copy the *.exe, *.slb and *.hps
  7. files from this packet into your Hot-Dice directory.

  10. If you _ARE_ running in an InterBBS League:
  11.  
  12. IMPORTANT!

  14. If you are upgrading from a ver prior to 2.1 then the following is
  15. important!
  16.  
  17. Version 2.1 added a time stamp to several InterBBS files, which requires  
  18. a delete of the MASTER.HD and HD-*.DAT files.  Everyone in the
  19. League has to upgrade and be running ver 2.1 or later or their 
  20. scores will not be processed by the Hub.

  22. DO NOT (unless you mean too) delete your HOT-DICE.DAT file. This is your
  23. local scores and they are not affected. Your InterBBS scores will 
  24. be lost, but not permanently.  When the player plays again, his/her scores
  25. will be picked up from the Local score file and transferred to the IBBS
  26. score file again.

  29. The following applys to all sysops:

  31. If you want to turn off the Sysop Feedback feature, create a file
  32. called NOFEEDBK in the Hot-Dice directory.  When this file is 
  33. present and a caller selects Sysop Feedback, the caller will be shown
  34. a screen instructing them to leave a message on the BBS.
